Dolores Palladino, educator

A former reading specialist, Dolores Palladino is well-versed in the areas of writing, study skills, and employability skills. She has conducted numerous workshops for teachers, planned and managed several learning labs using prescriptive instruction, and led task forces and organizations at the state level in Florida.

On a creative level, Palladino has written a variety of educational materials. She developed prescriptive study plans in reading, math, and language, and she authored resume-writing booklets for eight specific vocations. She developed learning guides for the Florida Department of Education and wrote articles for the Florida Adult Basic Education quarterly publications. She authored a test-taking booklet for high school and adult students, and she created teaching videos for study skills and employability skills.

As a presenter, Palladino conducted reading, writing, and employability skills workshops for career-tech instructors, reading and study skills workshops for middle and high-school teachers, and GED training workshops for GED teachers. She also did numerous presentations for educators on the local, state, and national levels.
